The Voice as an Instrument

The session will explore live electronic vocal performance with Ableton Live 12.4, focusing on vocal chains, effects, mappings, looping, and gesture control. The workshop is aimed at electronic artists, musicians, producers, and singers who want to use the voice as a central element in a live performance setup – not only as a vocal, but as a texture, instrument, and performance layer. New features in Ableton Live 12.4 will also be introduced, with a focus on how they can support a creative workflow. The session will also include a short beginner-friendly practical look at Ableton Move as a tool for performance ideas.
